I have been very busy working on my DJ triangles. I forgot to photograph them before I joined them all together as I was so excited to have completed the top!! So, here they all are and you can see which fabrics I used to join them all up.

They all look wonderful and I love your choice of fabrics. I'm working on this too, but only have the first and 4th triangles done. They're a challenge, but so much fun.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to do the triangles after all those squares!!! Am trying to master paper piecing to help get them straight!! :-)
DeleteAbsolutely stunning! I am so impressed, what a master work of piecing. I have the Dear Jane book, patterns and templates but am too chicken to even start.
ReplyDeleteBTW, do I see some Liberty of London fabrics on those triangles?! How decadent! I have some of the fabric used on T3 and T4 in a different color way. I'm saving it for something special - would that I could make what you did here!
Actually the whole quilt is Liberty blue fabric!! My local quilt shop 'Patchwork on Central' in Melbourne has an amazing range and do a great selection of fat 1/16th's. Every time I pass I pop in and buy a few more!!! So addictive! Take the plunge and start - you'll be amazed how easy it really is!
DeleteYou are amazing, I love the 'extended' triangle shaoe.... the quilt will be finished in no time!
ReplyDeleteI wish!!! Plodding along - done another 3 triangles this week!

ReplyDeleteI have made the body of the dear Jane quilt, but I am a bit stumped with making the triangles, did you add a 1/4” border on all of the pieces?
