Block 79
Today I went to my favourite fabric store in search of some more mauve fabrics. I found a tiny piece of Liberty which was enough for a border, as well as this cute spot. Raced home to piece it together!!
Wow, you are really moving along with the blocks. You are amazing.
I did a quick search for paper piecing tutorials and found a couple.
This is the method I tend to use: http://sometimescrafter.blogspot.com/2009/08/tutorial-paper-piecing-block.html Though, I do not perforate the paper first like she showed. Instead I sew the lines with a slightly smaller stitch length which also makes the paper easier to remove when you're done.
This tutorial is a slight variation. http://www.twiddletails.com/store/index.php?main_page=page&id=21
I generally say, try them all and then stick with the one that works for you. :)
