Well, this is the reason I have been so slow with the Nearly Insane lately....... hopefully there will not be any more babies in the family for a while!!!!

This one has some fabric from the quilt my 12 year old daughter is making (fabric we bought in San Francisco last year). I like to tie fabrics from my quilts together wherever possible.

Well.......there's nothing like a family party in the country to get a few blocks done!! A 6 1/2 hour car trip on straight roads is the perfect place to stitch!! 2 blocks on the way there and 2 on the way back!!! Here's the result..........

Well after a couple of weeks away in the sunshine of FNQ I have made a start again!! This time it was block 42 - and my first attempt at paper piecing!!! Quite tricky at first till I got the hang of it and the edges all do seem to meet.
